CHINA, HERE WE GO!!!!!! Last night, around 10:50 pm, I got an email from the agency saying that our CA (Consulate Appointment) request for September 4, had been granted. This morning we were told by the agency that we could get our international travel tickets, which we did. We will leave for China on August 22 as a family of 3, and leave China on September 6 as a complete family of 4. Even more exciting is the fact that today we received the travel itinerary and learned that we will be meeting Gabriela on Sunday August 26, instead of Monday August 27.
Everyone in my family is super excited. We have to really say thanks to my brother Jaime who gave us frequent flyer miles, with which we were able to purchase 2 of the tickets from Newark to Hong Kong and from Hong Kong to Chicago.Gracias Jaimito!!!!!! Te queremos mucho!
We were even able to already book Gabi's tickets.
Another exciting thing is that Florencio and I will be celebrating our 40th B-day celebration on the plane ride from HK to Chicago, on September 7, as a whole family.We are over the moon to be able to celebrate it with our 2 children. More details later.
Para Gabriela: Se que vas a leer esto un día. Mami, Papi y Seba estamos hoy super felices porque finalmente vemos como una realidad nuestro viaje a China. Hoy sacamos los pasajes mi vida, y sabemos que ya te vamos a poder tomar en nuestros brazos el 26 de agosto. Será un día glorioso! Te amamos con todo nuestro corazón y hasta el infinito, como diría tu hermano Seba, quien comenzó el kinder ayer y está también loco por conocerte.
